And the Hill City Chapter for the Southern Cruisers of Lynchburg Member of the month for August is:

First of all, I need to apologize again for the lack of attention to our site and our members.
It's not easy for everyone to take on responsibilities required to volunteer for the tasks that we ask of them and it should be taken seriously whenever we don't put in the effort that people do ask of us.

I will make more of an effort to add the appropriate names to the list of our outstanding members as they come up.

As for Member of the month:

That would be Buzzy Cooke:

Buzzy is the one in the front of the photo.  That would be his wife Cathy behind him followed by Kitty and Derin in the background.

But you ask me, why Buzzy.

For those of you that know him and have been in the club for a while, then you know already.  But for those that don't you will quickly learn that Buzzy will offer the shirt off his back and a supporting hand in just about every situation.  He and his wife open their house for us every Christmas for a great party that is on the edge of becoming a tradition that the other club members look forward to.  And he's kinda quiet too.
